I haven't heard from the midwife or anything further from the doctors, so still uncertain about the reality of the pregnancy. I am doing periodic pregnancy tests just to make sure. Doright thinks I am crazy…I don’t care, must confirm the news as miss champagne!
I am also worried about ectopic pregnancy as I have a constant dull pain in my left side, so taking the tests makes me feel better as levels of the pregnancy hormone hCG fall after a while if the pregnancy is ectopic.
Despite my uncertainty, I have been feeling uncharacteristically nauseous and exhausted so suspect something is up. Nausea has not been as bad as some of the stuff I have read on the internet and though my senses of smell and taste has been affected (I cannot eat anything greasy and for a while there we thought “little Doright” was vegetarian!) I really am not suffering the symptoms that seem to plague others. Think I have lost weight due to the not drinking and being unable to eat like a normal person but still feel slightly like a chubster. Heavy tummy not helping. Not full of baby yet, more bloated and achy especially afore-mention left side…apparently that’s my ligaments moving to make space – hurts like a mild period cramp…
Looking forward to the 8th of October so I can confirm I am pregnant and tell the world...and have reason to say no to social engagements. Struggling through them at the moment when all I want to do is pass out at home, but not long to go now…
