I went back to church today – when in need? – and I said a prayer for LD. I have decided to a start a novena to the patron stain of unborn children (St Gerard or St Joseph, yes that Joseph…) I suppose at this stage I am praying for a miracle. I started a novena timed to end the day before the ultra sound – hoping for a miracle.
I continue to look at resources regarding congenital hand defects – there is a lot out there and I think I need to stop as I am giving myself more worries about the potential implications of the defect on the rest of the baby.
